13th Cityscape Egypt Closes with High Attendance and Participation from Over 80 Leading Real Estate Companies
Cairo, September 28, 2024: The 13th and largest edition of Cityscape Egypt came to a close today at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC). The event spanned four days and achieved remarkable success, attracting more than 40,000 visitors, far exceeding expectations. This highlights the significant interest in the real estate sector in Egypt and Africa.
Cityscape 2024 was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and was attended by a number of high-profile government officials and business leaders, including Dr. Walid Abbas, Assistant Minister of Housing, and Eng. Fathallah Fawzy, Vice Chairman of Egyptian Businessmen’s Association and Chairman of MENA for real estate development consultancy, alongside prominent developers and key players in the real estate industry.
Exhibiting companies saw great interest in their projects, reporting excellent sales throughout the exhibition days. Several developers expressed their satisfaction with the results, noting that the exhibition provided a perfect opportunity to showcase their projects to a broad audience. They also highlighted that the event wasn’t just about displaying real estate properties but also created valuable opportunities to network with potential investors and partners, paving the way for future collaboration.
In addition to the commercial showcases, the exhibition hosted Cityscape Talks, a series of panel discussions and workshops that enriched the event with valuable ideas and discussions about the future of the real estate sector in Egypt. These t featured a distinguished group of real estate experts, developers, and startups, who explored key challenges and opportunities for advancing the sector. The discussions provided fresh insights into fostering innovation and promoting sustainability in real estate projects, in line with Egypt’s 2030 Vision.
Robert Daniel, Cityscape Exhibition Director, praised the tremendous success of the 13th edition of Cityscape Egypt, noting that the large turnout and positive interaction from visitors and developers reflect the growing importance of this event as a central platform for the real estate sector in Egypt and Africa.

He further explained that the discussions held during the exhibition helped identify the main challenges facing the sector and provided innovative solutions to address them, fully aligning with Egypt’s 2030 Vision, which focuses on sustainable development.
It’s worth mentioning that Cityscape was established in 2012 and is one of the most important regional exhibitions, with editions in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. Cityscape Egypt attracts over 80 real estate developers, featuring hundreds of different projects. The event enjoys strong participation from various entities and institutions and is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities. The 13th edition is the largest in Cityscape’s history, including the continuation of the “Cityscape Talks” platform for the second consecutive year to discuss real estate developments, and the launch of the “Egypt Proptech Challenge” for the first time, aimed at supporting startups in digital transformation.
